The Fix
Ingredients
1 bar spoon maple syrup
1 bar spoon vanilla syrup
3-5 dashes black walnut bitters
Flamed Angostura bitters (optional)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass and add ice three quarters of the way to the top. Stir for 10-15 seconds or until the ice feels loose. Strain over big cube in rocks glass and express orange peel over the top.
(Optional) Get a small spray bottle and fill with angostura bitters. Light a match and spray bitters over flame into cocktail glass.
VANILLA SYRUP
Bring one cup of boiling water to a boil and one cup of sugar. Stir until dissolved and lower heat. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix in. Let cool before bottling and storing in the refrigerator.
